Vanessa Hudgens celebrates her early motherhood - looking back at life before sleepless nights and snuggles with a newborn.
On December 26, the 37-year-old High School Musical alum took to Instagram to share a cheeky throwback photo of herself posing in a hot pink one-piece swimsuit while kneeling on a table. With sunglasses, a slick bun, and a huge smile, Vanessa exuded carefree energy - admitting she feels nostalgic for those "simpler times."
"Well, I haven't been to any holiday parties or even left the house this holiday season," Hudgens wrote. "Newborn life lol, so here's a photo of me in simpler times when I danced on tables. What a year it's been. From this to a mom of 2... What a journey ❤️."
The thirst-trap throwback comes nearly a month after Vanessa and husband Cole Tucker quietly welcomed their second child. The actress announced the exciting news on November 29 by sharing a raw photo from the hospital, with her hair tied up in a scrunchie and her newborn resting on her chest.
"Well... I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is," she wrote. "Big shout out to all the moms. It's truly incredible what our bodies can do ❤️."
Days later, she revealed how intense the delivery was, joking in an Instagram Story selfie, "Labor: Poppin out babies and blood vessels lol," after popping a blood vessel during childbirth.
Vanessa and the former MLB shortstop, 29, have remained extremely private about their growing family. They welcomed their first child in July 2024 and baby No. 2 in November 2025 - but have kept both little ones entirely off social media, never sharing names, photos, or even genders.
However, Vanessa has been openly praising Cole's parenting skills. "Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the world," she wrote in June 2025. "You make parenting so much more fun, musical, and magical."
The couple, who first met in 2020 and went public later that year, have built a family life largely away from the spotlight. But one thing Vanessa plans to share with her kids? Her filmography.
"I'll show my kids all my work," she told E! in 2024. "That's why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age."
