Player Ratings: Luton Town 1-2 Man Utd, Hojlund's Brace Inspires Another Victory

Two goals from Rasmus Hojlund helped Manchester United secure a victory over a determined Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Scoring his sixth and seventh goals in the past six Premier League matches, Hojlund gave the Red Devils a 2-0 lead within the first six minutes of play. However, Carlton Morris managed to narrow the lead before fifteen minutes were up.
The pace of the game waxed and waned, with both teams missing significant opportunities. Nonetheless, Manchester United held onto its slim lead, securing their fourth consecutive Premier League win.
From the moment the game began, Rasmus Hojlund silenced the thunderous Kenilworth Road crowd. The Danish striker capitalized on a mistake from Amari'i Bell, scoring his sixth goal in six games. Intercepting Bell's panicked touch, Hojlund rushed into the penalty box and slipped the ball past Luton's goalkeeper, Thomas Kaminski.
Hojlund didn't wait long to add another goal to his tally, scoring his seventh goal in six games in the seventh minute of play. Positioned perfectly, he artfully chested Alejandro Garnacho's volley into the corner of the net, making the score 2-0.
Even though they were dominated in the early stage of the game, Luton received a lifeline in the 14th minute with a fortuitous deflection. Tahith Chong’s spinning shot deflected off Harry Maguire's heel, falling perfectly to Morris, who promptly slotted the ball in.
This fortunate turn seemed to infuse the home team with renewed energy, wresting control from Manchester United in the latter part of the first half. Picking up the pace, it seemed as if Morris might level the playing field before half-time, but his shot from outside the box narrowly missed.
The Red Devils ended the first half one goal up, but arguably should have been one man down. After a rash challenge early on, Casemiro was surprisingly not given a second yellow card for a reckless tackle on Ross Barkley.
During the break, Scott McTominay replaced an underperforming Casemiro, rejuvenating Man Utd at the beginning of the second half. They came close to extending their lead with Bruno Fernandes' effort on goal being expertly blocked by Albert Sambi Lokonga after he managed to evade Kaminski.
Late in the match, Hojlund had a chance at a hat-trick during a lightning-fast Manchester United counter-attack, but Kaminski smothered his shot on goal.
Luton almost managed to equalize in the final minutes of the game with a high-arching header from Barkley hitting the crossbar.
