Lawyer George Conway, famously married to Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to Donald Trump, has long been vocal about his disapproval of his wife's former employer. George's criticisms have included dubbing Trump's administration as chaotic and disastrous, suggesting that Trump had narcissistic personality disorder, penning a lengthy essay explaining why Trump was unfit for office, and even cofounding an organization aiming to protect the US from him and his fervent supporters. Now it seems George's sentiments haven't shifted, even after the announcement to end his marriage to Kellyanne.

According to a recent report by Axios, George made a substantial donation of $929,600 to the Biden Victory Fund, the highest allowable amount. This news comes just ahead of a fundraiser he is due to feature in for Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. George explained his donation during a conversation with CNN, voicing his belief that the upcoming election will determine the continued existence of democracy and the rule of law in the US.

Referring to George’s social media activity, it's clear his donation isn’t entirely unexpected. He recently publicized a story predicting Trump’s cognitive decline within a four-year period and suggested that polluted waste sites should bear the former president’s name. Additionally, George retweeted a post where a legal scholar compared Trump to Adolf Hitler.

The marriage of George and Kellyanne, two individuals enmeshed in opposing political stances with Kellyanne playing a pivotal role in Trump's 2016 campaign and George being a vocal critic of Trump, has raised many eyebrows in Washington. One particularly baffling episode occurred when Kellyanne tried to anonymously deride George in a Washington Post article, even though she went on to refute his comments against Trump in her memoir.

Axios reported last month that Kellyanne, the former Trump adviser, is "contemplating a reentry into Trump's political sphere."
