The 12th wedding anniversary of Prince William and Princess Kate was a delightfully romantic occasion. The couple usually likes to keep it simple, but this year, they went above and beyond to celebrate their union. A source told Us Weekly that the Prince surprised Kate with a family heirloom - a stunning diamond ring that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana. But that wasn't all, as a sweet gesture, he also gave her a replica of the bouquet of flowers she held on their wedding day, symbolizing their love, unity, and friendship. The source further revealed that acknowledging the little details plays a significant role in keeping their marriage robust.

The Duchess of Cambridge reciprocated her husband's thoughtfulness by surprising him with a framed sketch of the two of them from an old photograph taken during their St. Andrew's years. William was blown away by the artwork that demonstrated his wife's artistic talents.

William and Kate shared a never-before-seen portrait to mark their anniversary with their fans via social media. The twosome were dressed down in blue jeans and riding bikes, arms wrapped around each other.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been together since they were college sweethearts. They wed in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London and have three beautiful, healthy children: son Prince George (born July 2013), daughter Princess Charlotte (born May 2015), and son Prince Louis (born April 2018).

Despite the challenges they have faced over the years, including tension with Prince Harry, their love for each other has never wavered. During a joint outing in Birmingham, England, in April, William gave a glowing compliment to his beloved wife in front of crowds of royal enthusiasts calling Kate's outfit 'amazing.' The prince replied, "Oh, she always looks stunning!"
