Friends no more? Love Is Blind‘s Marissa George hinted that she and costar Hannah Jiles aren’t as close as they were during the season 7 reunion episode, where Marissa defended Hannah’s against comments made by Hannah’s ex, Nick Dorka.

“Me and Hannah are not necessarily like on … we’re not best friends. We’re working through that,” Marissa, 32, confessed during a November 1 appearance on ABC7 News’ Good Morning Washington.

During the segment, she was joined by costars Nick, 29, Leo Braudy, Tyler Francis and Brittany Wisniewski. Love Is Blind‘s season 7 was filmed in Washington, D.C.

“It’s hard to see someone the way it was portrayed on camera. It was hard to see her go be that way. So, we’re working on that as friends, but we’ll see,” Marissa continued about the ladies’ future.

When one of the hosts noted how “people were taking sides at the reunion,” Marissa responded, “At the reunion, we’re friends, but it wasn’t about sides at the end of the day.”

“I do think the way Hannah acted was really horrible towards Nick, and I got to know Nick a lot in the pods. We dated for quite some time, so watching on the screen I was very shocked,” she confessed about Hannah’s treatment of Nick during the season.

Nick had some fun with Marissa before the segment taped, as the two sat in the Good Morning Washington anchor chairs and had a conversation, which he posted to Instagram.

“So, the people want to know, do you actually kind of like Nicky D?” he asked. “Ooh, this is a hard question but unfortunately I do like you Nicky D. But don’t tell Hannah,” Marissa responded.

In the caption, Nick wrote, “Surprise! We’re actually besties.”

During the reunion, Marissa sat next to Hannah, 27, and defended her in several exchanges with Nick.

“I think everyone up here except Hannah would say I’m the same dude start to finish,” the real estate agent said about how he tried to appear genuine. Marissa interjected, “And me.”

“Yeah, I would expect you to have your girl’s back,” Nick replied.

“Not only that, Nick, but some of us come on to this experience serious about finding love,” Marissa continued while calling him out for allegedly wanting to come on Love Is Blind to become the most “famous person” in the show’s history.

“It’s a slap in the face to some of us,” Marissa told him, explaining how some contestants were able to find love on the Netflix show.

“So, it’s like, I know that you’re a good person when I knew you in the pods, but then you hear about these things and you’re like, ‘What were you here for?'” she added.

During the reunion, Nick finally owned up to making comments about Hannah’s looks, confessing, “Yeah, I said I was underwhelmed when I saw Hannah at the reveal.”

Marissa defended how she treated Nick during the reunion while discussing his relationship with Hannah in an October 30 Instagram post.

Saying that she “never justified” Hannah’s mean treatment of Nick on the show, Marissa told fans, “Watching this season, I was as surprised as anyone. On stage, I addressed a specific comment Nick made about her – a fact I know firsthand,” referencing her claim that Nick made nasty comments about Hannah’s appearance.

“Nick’s dishonesty doesn’t excuse Hannah’s verbal abuse; those are two separate issues. When her behavior was raised, I told her she was wrong – something I’ve done privately, in interviews, and on stage,” Marissa continued. “I don’t control the final edit and won’t be blamed for others’ silence.”
