Princess Kate dazzled at her first public appearance since Piers Morgan, a well-known personality in British media, appeared to verify that she was one of the two suspected racists among the royal family, believed to be mentioned in the Dutch edition of Omid Scobie's newest book, Endgame.

On Thursday, November 30, the 41-year-old Princess of Wales gracefully donned a striking blue dress with long sleeves reaching the floor and slits up to her elbows at the yearly Royal Variety Performance at London's Royal Albert Hall. She also sported a beautiful jewelled bracelet while she attended the gala with Prince William, her husband.

Even though Kate seemed cheerful before the camera, there were speculations regarding Piers' supposed affirmation that she and King Charles III questioned the skin tone of Meghan Markle’s yet-to-be-born baby. However, the royal family is yet to respond to these speculations.

In the Dutch version of Endgame, which has now been withdrawn from the bookstores, the names of the alleged racist royals were said to be mentioned. Omid, however, argued that their names were not included in the original content, attributing the mistake to translation errors.

A section of the book read, “Even after Meghan and Charles communicated via letter about the potential unconscious bias in the family after the revelation of [redacted]'s participation in discussions about Archie, [redacted] steered clear of discussing the subject with [redacted].”

Omid while explaining to RTL Boulevard on November 29 after Charles's page was revealed, said, "The book has translations in several languages, and unfortunately, I don’t speak Dutch. But I'm confident that if there are any translation errors, the publishers will rectify them.”

He also clarified, "The version I wrote and edited in English has never included any names." Subsequently, Kate’s name appeared to be mentioned in a segment shared on social media the next day.

Despite the British media refraining from printing the names, Piers chose to speak about the people whom Omid had apparently targeted during his Wednesday Talk TV show.

Piers initiated the conversation by saying, “If Dutch patrons can casually walk into a bookstore and see these names, then you, the British public – who are the actual benefactors of the royal family – have the right to know too. This can then lead to a more candid discussion about this entire fiasco."

He then stated, "I firmly believe that no member of the royal family ever made any racist comments and until solid evidence regarding those comments come to light, I will hold onto my belief,” before disclosing the names.

Although Omid refuted any involvement in writing about alleged racist elements within the royal family, he was notably critical of the princess for other matters in his book. He characterised her as "cold" and a "Stepford-like royal wife" who avoids work, and prefers spending time with Prince William and their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Omid also stated in his book, "While other senior members of the royal family are often busy meeting people across the country, Kate has opted for a less demanding work schedule, which enables her to carry out her royal duties while also sparing time for her family."

Another excerpt from the book reads, "The royals have always been cautious with Kate, ensuring that she does not overwork herself as the journey to becoming queen is a marathon, not a sprint," adding a quote from a senior aide, "'For a long time, people were scared to make her do something that would make her uncomfortable,' a senior aide told me.”
