Bunnie XO, the spouse of Jelly Roll, reminisced on the first anniversary of her departure from the sex work industry this week. She openly disclosed her feelings about relinquishing that source of wealth.

"I stepped away from the SW industry exactly a year ago," the 44-year-old host of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast penned on Facebook on Wednesday, March 6. She added a throwback post from 2023 portraying the announcement of her “spicy” OnlyFans page closure. "Moving away from that phase and the earnings it brought was frightening to me as I wasn't sure how I was going to compensate for its income in my trade. Nevertheless, my faith was unshaken and I allowed God to handle it; He made sure I got back my investment, tenfolds."

Bunnie concluded her post by expressing her appreciation, “Unending thanks to each of you who have faith in me & subscribe to my Patreon, purchase merchandise, listen to the podcast & daily interact with me. I AM GRATEFUL."

A couple of hours later, Bunnie, who is the proud stepmother of two and tied the knot with Jelly Roll, 39, in 2016, wrote another post to clarify misunderstandings about being a sex worker and wedded concurrently. She posted an image of a comment from a person questioning her choice.

“Several people appear to be confused about my retirement from SW last year as I've been married for the past 7 years. So here's my explanation. I'm open and transparent, and I don’t shy away from expressing my thoughts," started Bunnie.

She added, “I’ve always been independent and financially capable, even after wedding J, I was insistent on maintaining my independence and not depending solely on him. And truthfully, he never pressured me to end it. He was aware of my zeal to earn my own money. But he constantly voiced, ‘One day, darling, you'll not have to handle this anymore.’”

Bunnie revealed that in 2018 she launched the Bunnie XO brand with her earnings from sex work. “My brand was completely self-made without assistance from anyone, not even my spouse,” she stated.

In 2020, she gave up seeing clients and having sugar daddies and created her Onlyfans page, earning her millions. The substantial earnings from the site in a limited span shocked her. "By 2022, my business, Bunnie Xo, started earning as much, if not more, than my SW income. Hence, it became unjustifiable to retain that aspect of my life when the new brand was doing extremely well."

Jestingly, Bunnie mentioned that she didn't want to be the only wife in the country music scene whose private pictures were circulating on the internet. She also stressed that Jelly never insisted on her retirement.

“Deciding to quit was the best choice I ever made,” she finalized, “It is all history now, my dear!”

Jelly himself has previously addressed his wife's past in sex work, and his financial struggles when they first met in 2015.

“I was completely bankrupt. However, she still found me appealing and was making a solid earning from sex work," he disclosed on Bert Kreischer's podcast. Back then, he was homeless and performed shows for $100 a night. "Her earnings were substantial, a concept I was new to. Despite this, I had no issues with her profession. As long as it is high-end, I'm okay with whatever."
