Influencer Roma Abdesselam Treats Herself to Hermès Bag as a Gift for Egg Freezing Journey

Influencer Roma Abdesselam, who goes by @therealsahd (stay at home daughter) online, is once again giving fans a glimpse into her lavish lifestyle–this time with a new twist.

The 26-year-old luxury lifestyle influencer usually posts videos of her opulent shopping hauls, glamorous “day in the life” vlogs, and more content revolving around living luxuriously off of her parents' wealth as a “stay at home daughter.”

However, lately Abdesselam has been adding a new category to her content: documenting her fertility treatment journey. While the influencer is currently single and not trying to get pregnant, she is looking to freeze her eggs for the future.

Taking the opportunity to be more vulnerable with her followers, Abdesselam has been sharing her ups and downs and explaining the egg freezing process to those who may not be aware of it.

“Today is the day I do my trigger shot, and a trigger shot is basically what you inject yourself to go into ovulation so you can then have surgery and they can extract your follicles and, you know, yield what they need to yield,” Abdesselam explained to her followers in a September 24 TikTok.

Abdesselam is adamant about freezing her eggs and sharing information about it with other women because she feels it takes pressure off of her dating life and will make it easier to find the right partner, no matter what age he may come into her life.

“[Egg freezing is] completely worth it, because at the end of the day, I did not have to settle, have to be with a guy I didn’t want to be with, just so I could make my biological clock,” Abdesselam said in a TikTok about her first day of the egg freezing process.

Now, in a new TikTok, Abdesselam is combining the opulent content her fans know and love with her new fertility treatment journey by purchasing herself a pricey Hermès Kelly handbag as a “pull present.”

“What a pull present is, is it’s a gift that you give yourself after going through a round of IVF or egg freezing, because they’re pulling your follicles, they are pulling your eggs out of your body. I think that every woman that goes through IVF or egg freezing should definitely get a pull present,” Abdesselam said in a TikTok of her unboxing the bright pink designer handbag.

“Did I make ‘pull present’ up? Yes. Should everyone buy themselves a pull present? 100%. Do I make the rules? Yes, I do, unfortunately,” she said playfully in the video.
