In his first ever El Clasico on Saturday afternoon, Jude Bellingham distinguished himself by scoring two critical goals, enabling Real Madrid to defeat Barcelona 2-1 in the final moments of the game at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium.

During the early stages of the match, Barcelona took control. Ilkay Gundogan gave them an advantage by scoring in the sixth minute. However, Madrid regained the upper hand in the game's latter half with the timely entry of Luka Modric.

Following Modric's appearance, Madrid wrested control of the game. In the 68th minute, Bellingham produced an impressive goal to level the score. Two minutes into injury time, he scored the decisive goal of the match.

The victory catapults Madrid back to the top of La Liga, giving them a comfortable four-point lead over their longstanding rivals, who are currently ranked third.

Thanks to Barcelona's effective high-pressure tactics early in the match, they managed to score in the sixth minute, with a critical contribution from an energetic Gavi.

The goal was the result of a lax defense by Aurelien Tchouameni and David Alaba, who failed to properly handle a loose ball on the edge of their box. This allowed Ilkay Gundogan, previously Manchester City's captain, to effortlessly score his first goal for Barcelona.

Ten minutes later, Barcelona nearly scored a second goal after another defensive lapse by a Real Madrid player. Gavi intercepted a ball from Toni Kroos and guided it to Fermin Lopez near the penalty area. Thanks to the goal post, Kroos was saved from embarrassment as Lopez's shot deflected clear off the post.

Though Madrid was dominated by Barcelona for most of the first half, they showed vitality in the 39th minute. Madrid's first notable chance came from Dani Carvajal, who shot the ball into the side netting.

Barcelona started the second half with refreshed vigor and almost got a second goal thanks to successive attempts by Inigo Martinez and Ronald Araujo. Martinez struck the post with a goalward header while Araujo's follow-up shot was deflected by goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The entry of Luka Modric at the one-hour mark had a transformational influence on the game. Consequently, Madrid's performance saw a marked improvement.

Tchouameni attempted a long-distance shot which was saved by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Soon after, Bellingham's amazing score equalled the game.

After 68 minutes of marking by Gavi, Bellingham finally freed himself and found open space outside the box. Bellingham's powerful shot shook the net, sailing past ter Stegen's left arm.

The equilibrium put Madrid in a confident position, pressing forward for the victory. Barcelona seemed sluggish, and Bellingham managed to score the winning goal in overtime.

Bellingham, having scored his tenth and most important La Liga goal of the season, reacted quickly when a low cross from Carvajal rebounded off Modric's foot and sailed into the six-yard box.

Goalkeeper ter Stegen had a decent save against Tchouameni but stood little chance against Bellingham's strike.

Defenders Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen had admirable performances. Araujo had the upper hand against Vinicius Junior, and Christensen made crucial tackles in his own penalty area.

Alejandro Balde defended effectively and Fermin Lopez performed well during his El Clasico debut. Gavi was highly energetic for more than an hour, neutralizing Bellingham. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst afterwards.

Ilkay Gundogan picked the perfect moment for his first Barcelona goal.
