Man Utd have been criticised for their lack of identity over recent seasons. Even in his initial interview, Amorim made sure to address the changes he would make to implement a style at the club.

He said: 'If I have to explain the importance of everything, it is the character, the way we fight, the way we play, and we must have an identity.'
