Recap: Who Will Joey Graziadei Choose in 'The Bachelor' Finale - Daisy Kent or Kelsey Anderson?

The season 28 finale of The Bachelor required contestant Joey Graziadei to make a crucial decision between his potential partners, Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent. This decision was made during the last rose ceremony on Monday, March 25.

Heading into the finale, 28-year-old tennis instructor, Joey, admitted he was falling in love with both Daisy and Kelsey, who are each 25 years old. The Bachelor star reviewed the growth of both relationships before a reunion with his family. His father, Nick Graziadei, mother, Cathy Pagliaro, sisters Carly Monzo and Ellie Graziadei, and brother-in-law Zach Monzo all travelled to Mexico to meet the final two contestants.

The family interaction started with Daisy. She boldly discussed her hearing loss and became emotional while expressing gratitude for their role in shaping Joey. The Minnesota native had not yet confessed her love for Joey, but assured his sisters, Carly and Ellie, she was on the verge of doing so and ready for his proposal. Joey, however, felt that Daisy might be withholding herself, causing him to feel apprehensive. His sisters reassured him that Daisy was fully committed and would be devastated if she was not proposed to.

In the meantime, Cathy conveyed to Daisy that she would be privileged to have her as a daughter-in-law. Daisy's emotional response to this heartfelt conversation was followed by glowing feedback to Joey about their encounter. Joey expressed to Daisy that his family also thought that she was a very special person.

Following Daisy's departure, Kelsey entered to engage with the family. She brought tears to their eyes by discussing the death of her mother. Nevertheless, when Carly and Ellie inquired about her readiness for marriage, they sensed hesitation. The sisters relayed Kelsey's uncertainty to Joey, contrasting it with Daisy's confident stance. This prompted Joey to discuss Kelsey's true feelings and intentions.

As the day closed, Kelsey's anxiety about being the chosen one began to surface. Despite her fears, Kelsey recognized that Joey would still be happy if he ended up with Daisy. Nonetheless, the thought of being with Joey filled her with joy.

On the final date with Daisy the next day, the couple visited a professional healer to cleanse themselves holistically. During the date, Daisy admitted to growing frustrations due to feeling uncertain about Joey's feelings for her.

Daisy's concerns intensified when Joey commented that he wanted what was best for her, even if it did not involve him. Sharing her thoughts, Daisy confessed that she felt weighed down, which was a complete contrast to how she normally felt in Joey’s presence. She ended by expressing her worries that she might not be the one he chooses.
