Jude Bellingham has shown off the sizeable scar from the shoulder surgery he underwent earlier this summer while enjoying a well-earned break in Jamaica.

The Real Madrid star and England international went under the knife in July at London’s Fortius Clinic to address a long-running shoulder issue that had plagued him since late 2023. Throughout much of last season, Bellingham played through the discomfort, often wearing a discreet brace beneath his shirt.

Now on the mend, the 22-year-old has been spotted soaking up the sun in Jamaica, where he posed for photos with fans.

In several of the pictures, Bellingham was wearing a vest that revealed a long, visible scar stretching from under his armpit to his collarbone – a clear reminder of the operation’s intensity.

Shortly after the procedure, Bellingham shared a post-surgery photo on Instagram along with a heartfelt message of thanks.

“Thank you to Andrew Wallace & Susan Alexander, their team and everyone at Fortius Clinic for the surgery and hospitality,' he wrote. 'To Ivan Ortega and Dr Leyes for travelling to support. And finally, to everyone else for all the well wishes and messages of love. The process to come back has already started, see you soon.”

Reports suggest Bellingham will miss around 12 weeks of action, with a return to the pitch expected in October.

After Real Madrid suffered their first trophyless season in four years, fans – and the club – will be counting down the days until their 2023/24 La Liga Player of the Year is back pulling the strings in midfield.
