Taylor Swift made a generous donation of $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a victim of the Kansas City shooting. She made this gesture through two separate $50,000 donations to the GoFundMe page that had been created by Lisa's family members.

Swift, a Grammy award winner, expressed her heartfelt condolences to the family on the GoFundMe page, on Friday, February 16th. She wrote, "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift," in the “Words of Support” section.

The GoFundMe page was launched to aid the family of Lopez-Galvan, who tragically lost her life while celebrating at the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade. The page description asked supporters to continue praying for her family as they mourned, and stated that all funds raised would provide crucial financial assistance to her grieving family. Any contribution was welcome.

Lisa, aged 43, was a DJ at the Kansas City's KKFI 90.1 radio station. Her passing was confirmed by friends on the day of the tragic shooting incident on Wednesday, February 14. Her family also made a public statement to CNN on Thursday, February 15.

Lisa’s family expressed their sorrow over the loss of a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, in their statement. They requested prayers for their family as they coped with their devastating loss.

On the day of the shooting, around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, shots were fired near Union Station during the celebration of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory. NBC News reported that up to 22 people were injured. Lisa was fatally injured with a gunshot wound to her abdomen, and later passed away during surgery in the hospital.

Swift, 34-years-old, was not at the celebration, but her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was part of the parade. He later took the stage with fellow teammates, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Kelce expressed his heartfelt condolences over the tragedy later that day.

Travis, also aged 34, shared on X that he was deeply saddened by the event. He extended his sympathies to all those who attended the celebration and were affected by it, adding that Kansas City holds a special place in his heart.
