Did Jason Kelce Finally Agree to a Cat After Kylie Kelce’s Persistent Requests? Taylor Swift Reveals a Secret

Taylor Swift has revealed just how instrumental she was in helping Kylie Kelce and her four daughters welcome a cat into their family.
While a guest on the “New Heights” podcast on Aug. 13, Travis Kelce asked his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, how she felt about Jason Kelce’s lie about cats being poisonous.
During a previous episode of the podcast, Jason revealed that Kylie has been putting the pressure on him to agree to get a family cat. Jason, not being a cat person, admitted he wasn’t on board with the idea and eventually told their daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley, the little white lie about cats being poisonous so that they wouldn’t want a pet cat either.
However, with Taylor now being Travis’s girlfriend, and a well-known lover of cats (having three of them herself), Taylor revealed that she has since made it very clear to Jason and Kylie’s daughters that cats are not poisonous.
“It was actually really a great challenge, because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous, and there’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my Rag doll cat,” Taylor explained, sharing that Benjamin lets humans “hold him like he’s a baby.”
Taylor continued saying it is her favorite thing ever when Jason and Kylie’s third oldest daughter Bennie bonds with Benjamin. “She’s just like, over there, just like laying with him and petting him and holding him.”
The singer-songwriter then dropped the news that she heard from a “very well-placed source” that Jason and Kylie are in fact getting a cat.
“I will neither confirm nor deny,” Jason responded to the news. “There’s a chance I’ve been talked into a barn cat that does not go inside, that will survive off of rodents in the fields,” Jason added, which made both Travis and Taylor laugh.
“Those girls are going to be sneaking that cat in,” Taylor noted and Travis agreed. “There’s no way” (that cat is staying outside).
Jason continued saying that he can get “down with” some cats, noting his love for their childhood cat, Flash, before Taylor asked how he felt about her three cats.
“The only one that would go near me was Benjamin,” Jason admitted. “Yeah, because the other two can sense that you had resting cat hater face.”
