Mauricio Pochettino has declared that he still has the backing of Chelsea's owners, despite growing demands for his dismissal.

As pressure mounts from disgruntled fans, some of whom voiced their dissatisfaction via chants for ex-manager Jose Mourinho during the recent 4-2 loss to Wolves, the Argentine stands firm. There were also reports of a section of the crowd showing support for former owner Roman Abramovich.

Before the upcoming FA Cup replay against Aston Villa on Wednesday, Pochettino remained resolute, stating that he has only received positive feedback from Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali, and other key decision-makers at Stamford Bridge.

'I've not heard anything contrary,' Pochettino commented when asked about retaining the owners' confidence. 'They sent me a very encouraging text.'

'We are all in this together. Of course, they maintain daily contact with me and the sporting directors.'

Pochettino also dismissed the idea that the Chelsea role was more challenging than he had anticipated and acknowledged he has communicated with his team to reiterate his commitment to the organization.

'I addressed this question previously and as I mentioned, this is always a challenging job, but concurrently, it's an exciting project,' he went on. 'Despite the difficulties and the current unpleasant circumstances, it offers us a chance to learn. It's a valuable learning opportunity.'

'I conveyed to the players in today's meeting, 'I trust you now more than ever, and I will support you now more than ever'. I am not just an ordinary boss, I am the leader, and I need to demonstrate through every action that I have utmost trust in the players we have.'

'Undoubtedly, we are prepared to tackle this situation head-on, with the knowledge that we can bounce back and start claiming victories.'
