Net Worths of the 'Succession' Cast: A Look at the Wealth of HBO Stars
The Succession cast doesn't need to call their dads for money, as their years of work have led to massive net worths. These HBO stars live just as lavishly as their rich characters, thanks to their salaries and other projects.
Premiering in June 2018, the show stars Brian Cox as Logan, the head of the Waystar Royco media empire, who spends most of his time sparring with his children for control.
“People come up to me with their videos and say would you tell me to f–k off. OK, well, f–k off,” the actor told the Australian Financial Review in November 2022, referring to his character’s iconic catchphrase. “When you have a phrase like that, it covers a multitude of everything.”
The show, with all its unlikeable but beloved characters, will come to an end in 2023 following its fourth season. Creator Jesse Armstrong always knew the end was near because of the show's name.
“You know, there’s a promise in the title of Succession. I’ve never thought this could go on forever,” he explained during a profile in The New Yorker in February 2023. “The end has always been kind of present in my mind. From season 2, I’ve been trying to think: Is it the next one, or the one after that, or is it the one after that?”
When it came to finalizing the ending, Jesse met with the show's writers and discussed possible scenarios. “We could do a couple of short seasons, or two more seasons. Or we could go on for ages and turn the show into something rather different, and be a more rangy, freewheeling kind of fun show, where there would be good weeks and bad weeks,” Jesse recalled. “Or we could do something a bit more muscular and complete, and go out sort of strong. And that was definitely always my preference.”
As the show comes to a close, the cast will continue to experience success in Hollywood with various roles and big paychecks. Check out the gallery for a look at the Succession cast's net worths.
