Unveiling the Hidden Secret of Jude Bellingham's Unbelievable Start at Real Madrid
Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, attributes his impressive start at the club to the support and energy of the fans.
Having transferred from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth an initial £88m during the summer, Bellingham has already scored ten goals in his first ten matches for Madrid. This has quickly made him a favourite amongst fans, as well as cementing his place as one of the most promising talents in global football.
It's no surprise then, that Bellingham was crowned as Madrid's Player of the Month for September. When he was presented with the award, also known as the Mahou Five Star Player award, he expressed his gratitude to the fans for their role in his rapid settling into the team.
He described his bond with the fans as 'very special,' and a joy to play for them. 'The cheers and chants lend me a lot of energy and drive. That’s probably why I started how I did. I am really grateful for it and look forward to making many more great memories together,' he said to the club's media.
For him, playing for Madrid is the fulfilment of a dream. 'Playing here is better than I ever dreamed. I relish every moment, both on the field and during training. I hope it continues this way.'
Bellingham's top-tier performance has also shone through in his international career, helping the England national team secure a 3-1 victory over Italy during the international break.
England football legend and current manager of Birmingham City, Bellingham's old club, Wayne Rooney, has commended the midfielder for his performances. However, Rooney has warned that this dazzling form won't last forever.
'The strides that Jude is making are remarkable and he deserves a lot of props for advancing his career to this extent,' said Rooney. 'But it's important to remember that sooner or later, his performance will drop, and when that happens, we need to support him rather than lambast him. He's a player we need to nurture and plan for a future with.'
'He’s currently in top form, but every player goes through a slump. Our country is too quick to criticize when players aren't performing ideally. Playing for England brings with it great pressure, so having supportive coaches is essential.'
'Right now, Jude is at the peak of his career, but when he hits a slump, we all need to rally behind him. He's bound to face difficulties, like Marcus [Rashford] and Raheem [Sterling] did.'
