Footballer Joshua Kimmich Contemplates Future at Bayern Munich Amidst Interest from Other European Clubs
Joshua Kimmich, the midfielder for Bayern Munich, is currently being courted by several elite clubs across Europe as he ponders his future with his current team, according to information obtained by 90min.
Kimmich has been a vital component of Bayern's roster for most of his eight-year tenure, but his current contract will come to a close in just two years. 90min sources confirmed that intermediaries have made inquiries with various European heavy-hitters such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United regarding Kimmich's potential availability, along with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain on the mainland.
These clubs have been apprised of Kimmich's vexed and uncertain mindset and have expressed their interest in securing a deal with the German international if he should become available.
Despite interest from other clubs, Bayern has no intention of parting ways with Kimmich at present, and the club is even angling to grant the player a new contract. Kimmich has cemented himself as one of the most critical components of the Bavarian club's roster during his 345 appearances thus far.
Bayern is aware of the growing competition to acquire Kimmich's services but is steadfast in their commitment to holding onto the midfielder.
During his time with Bayern, Kimmich has captured the Bundesliga championship seven times, with the prospect of an eighth in sight as Bayern leads the table with only two games remaining.
When asked if he believes he and his squad will lift the trophy in the coming weeks, Kimmich commented on the Bundesliga's website, "I think so. We have it in our control. We know we need two wins. There are still two matches left, so we know we have to win every game. We have the talent to accomplish it. Nearly everyone is fit now."
