Arne Slot, the current Feyenoord manager, has held back from discussing any potential association with Liverpool prior to any formal announcements, although he has hinted that there may be a confirmation of his move to Anfield in the future.

Last week, Slot openly shared his ambitions to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, sparking reports from England and the Netherlands suggesting an agreement had been finalized among all concerned parties.

Before Feyenoord's Eredivisie match against PEC Zwolle on Sunday, Slot was asked by Sky Sports about the possible timeline for an announcement of his move to Liverpool.

Slot emphasized, 'Until an official confirmation is released, I don't find it fair to discuss it with regard to the club I am presently associated with or the club I may join in the future.' He continued, stating, 'I am more than ready to address any inquiries once the official announcement has been made. I am confident that will happen, but as of now there's no official confirmation.'

When Dutch publication AD inquired about his career prospects, Slot replied: 'I deem it fitting to reserve my responses to these questions until the end of the season. I am currently committed to Feyenoord, and Liverpool is also engrossed in their ongoing season.'

He added, 'No official announcement has been made and I am here, bearing the Feyenoord emblem. The focus should be on Feyenoord, although I suspect you'll inquire regardless.'

Slot's Feyenoord squad is currently trailing the Eredivisie leader, PSV Eindhoven, by nine points with only three games remaining in the season, thus they are on the brink of relinquishing their Dutch championship.

As for Liverpool, they are almost eliminated from the Premier League title competition, being five points behind Arsenal and four points behind Manchester City, with an additional game remaining for Manchester City. Liverpool, under Klopp's command, will be back in action on Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur.
