Ofner is dominating the match, winning his second-set tiebreak against Korda with a 7-1 lead, taking a 2-0 lead overall. Korda had beaten Medvedev and Hurkacsz to get to the last eight in Melbourne, making this a significant win for the Swiss player in the Sebastian derby match.

Svito makes a remarkable comeback after injury and maternity, winning her match with excellent serving towards the end. She will now face either Garcia or Blinkova.

Ostapenkz does her usual thing and Stearns is up against Vondrousova or Kasatkina.

Tsitsipas takes the second-set tiebreak with a 4-2 lead, after Carballes Baena made a mistake and handed the Greek player the upper hand. Everyone knows that Tsitsipas has what it takes to win matches such as this.

My attention is diverted to Ofner versus Korda, where the unseeded Swiss player has retrieved the number 24’s break, leading 6-3 6-5.

Carballes Baena manages to hold on, forcing a tiebreaker, but Tsitsipas quickly dominates, gaining an immediate mini-break with a 2-0 lead. Meanwhile, Stearns has a second final-set break against Ostapenko, leading 4-1, while in another match, Svitolina seems to be following in her husband’s footsteps with a miraculous victory of her own, leading Hunter by 4-0 in the decider.

Does anyone else notice the resemblance between Jessica Pegula and Jessica Penne, the MMA fighter?

Groan, it’s a pity that Giorgi is not progressing to the grass-court season. Pegula now advances to meet Osorio or Mertens next.

In typical Ostapenkz fashion, after winning the first set 6-1, she’s already broken at the start of the decider, so Stearns leads 6-3 1-6 0-1. Svitolina, meanwhile, has levelled a match in which she trailed by a set and break, and that's a heartening sight. She and Hunter are getting ready to start their decider, while Mertens, seeded 28, is a set up but a break down to Osorio at 2-3 in the second set.

Over on Lenglen, four successive breaks take the score to 4-3 Tsitsipas in the second set. Meanwhile, Korda is a break up at 3-2 in the second set, having lost the first to Ofner.

In her first game, Pegula is successfully breaking Giorgi, leading 4-0 in the first set, while Fognini is dominating Kubler, 6-4 4-0.

After much consideration, I’ve decided to back Ostapenko with a 3-6 6-1 Stearns prediction on my third screen, mainly because I appreciate the former's attacking abandon and carefree yahooing.

Tsitsipas gradually wears down Carballes Baena, breaking him for 3-1 in the second set after gradually increasing his backhand power.

On Chatrier, Pegula – who saw her rising to number three seed? – breaks Giorgi in the first game.

Finally, for those who follow our resident coach, Calvin Betton’s expert and insider analyses, his charge, Henry Patten, and Julian Cash are playing men's doubles against Purcell and Shelton, leading 6-3 2-1 with a break.

So far this morning: Tsitsipas is leading Carballes Baena 6-1 1-1; Hunter is leading Svitolina 6-2 2-1 with a break; Stearns is leading Ostapenko 6-3 1-2, with Ostapenko having a break; Mertens is leading Osorio 6-3; Fognini is leading Kubler 6-4; and Offner is leading Korda 6-3 2-1.

Welcome to day four of Roland-Garros 2023! It's an extraordinary and mundane day, with an array of matches to be played. We begin with Stefanos Tsitsipas and his match with clay-court specialist Roberto Carballés Baena closely followed by Jessica Pegula facing Camila Giorgi. In the second tranche, Stan Wawrinka, the oldest player in the draw and former champ, faces Thanasi Kokkinakis, Daria Kastkina meets Marketa Vondrousova, and Caroline Garcia is also in action.

Meanwhile, we've got Jelena Ostapenko, Elise Mertens, Hubert Hurkacz, Sloane Stephens, Lorenzo Musetti, Laylah Fernandez, Karen Khachanov, Denis Shapovalov, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Sebaskian Korda all playing in different courts. It's a feast for tennis fans, and we're excited to watch all the action!
