Meanwhile, Sporting CP midfielder Manuel Ugarte prefers a move to Chelsea over PSG, according to Record. Chelsea also has Youssouf Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister on their midfield shortlist, says The Guardian. But Mac Allister and his agents might be finalizing a €70m transfer to Liverpool, with a five-year contract ready to be signed, per TyC Sports. Liverpool is also interested in signing Wolves' Ruben Neves for £50m, according to Football Insider.

Also, a number of Premier League clubs have shown interest in Lionel Messi for a free transfer this summer as his future at Barcelona remains uncertain, but according to Ole, Messi wants to return to the Catalan club. However, Foot Mercato reports that a two-year contract worth an eye-watering €1.2bn with Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal is already agreed upon by Messi's father.
In other news, Bayern Munich is reportedly planning to pay £95m to snatch Declan Rice from West Ham, as reported by The Mirror.
