The UEFA European Championships 2024 group stage draw has taken place in Hamburg.

England has been matched with Denmark, a team they ousted in a nail-biting semi-final at Euro 2020, along with Slovenia and Serbia.

In the meantime, Germany, the tournament's host, will inaugurate the tournament against Scotland, which is coached by Steve Clarke. This group also includes Hungary and Switzerland.

Group B is perceived as the 'group of death' largely, as Spain, being top seeds, is drawn with Croatia, Italy, and Albania.

The final three participants will be confirmed in March after the play-off rounds conclude. Wales aims to secure a spot in a third consecutive major tournament with a victory against Finland at home and either Estonia or Poland.

Euro 2024 will commence on 14 June 2024, with Germany, the hosting nation, confronting Scotland at the Allianz Arena at 8pm BST.

The top two teams from every group will proceed to the final sixteen following three rounds of matches. They'll be accompanied by the four superior third-place teams.
