It's typically a time when you can find amazing deals on almost every type of product, from tech and appliances to fashion and beauty.

Black Friday doesn't fall on the same date every year, although it traditionally lands on the first Friday after the American celebration of Thanksgiving. This year, that means it'll take place on 29 November 2024, reports the Mirror.

If you've got your sights set on a specific item, it's worth keeping an eye on the brand's website in the run-up to Black Friday to ensure you don't miss out on the biggest savings.

Some brands even offer the option to sign up for notifications when deals go live.

Typically, Black Friday deals last the entire weekend and wrap up at 11:59 on Cyber Monday, which falls on 2 December 2024 this year. While some prices may continue to drop as the weekend progresses, waiting too long to buy could mean missing out if your favourite item sells out.
