Christine Gets Engaged to David Following Separation from Kody on ‘Sister Wives’
Congratulations! David Woolley has popped the question and Sister Wives star Christine Brown said yes after only two months of dating. Life & Style confirms the engagement.
Christine, 50, told People on Thursday, April 13, "David treats me like a queen and tells me I'm beautiful everyday. I've never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it. I'm so excited for the wonderful adventure we are going to embark on for the rest of our lives."
The couple first went public with their relationship on Valentine's Day, just two weeks after Christine had confirmed she was dating again. She had revealed in a “Car Confessions” Instagram post that she was seeing someone exclusively before later announcing that mystery man was David.
"I finally found the love of my life, David," The Cooking With Just Christine star captioned a sweet selfie of the pair. "The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath. He's wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this."
This engagement comes after Christine revealed that she and ex-husband Kody Brown had grown apart after being together for over 25 years. She announced in a statement on Instagram in November 2021 that she was leaving the polygamous patriarch.
"At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family,” Christine wrote at the time. The former couple share six children together: son Paedon Brown and daughters Mykelti Padron (née Brown), Aspyn Thompson (née Brown), Ysabel Brown, Gwendlyn Brown and Truely Brown.
Christine's future partner was already the topic of discussion on Sister Wives as fellow former wife Janelle Brown gave insight, revealing that she wanted someone who "really just cherishes her." Christine also previously opened up about her expectations, saying she wanted a monogamous relationship moving forward, wanting to be an example for her children.
