Zara McDermott's Birthday Bash with Designer Gift from Sam Thompson - OK! Magazine

Sam Thompson arrived just in time to celebrate the 27th birthday of his girlfriend, Zara McDermott. The recent winner of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! pulled out all the stops to ensure a memorable birthday celebration for her.

Sam had been in Australia participating in the show while Zara, who turned 27 on December 14, remained in the US for her work. But they finally got to be together on Wednesday, the 13th of December, after weeks of separation, with Sam making it back in time to celebrate Zara's big day.

The couple made the most of their reunion by having a champagne-filled afternoon at The Ritz. They dolled up for this festive event and clicked photographs in front of the iconic Christmas tree at the venue.

Zara wore an eye-catching black studded mini dress, paired with pointed heels and tights. Meanwhile, Sam sported a stylish suit complete with a double-breasted blazer, exuding an aura vastly different from his recent stay in the Australian jungle.

Zara posted photos of their celebratory toast, showing them reveling in the champagne and the beautiful surroundings.

Earlier that day, Sam gifted Zara an extravagant Bottega Veneta handbag after taking her around London, which cost between £1,880 and £5,550. She expressed her joy with a picture of the bag and her posing, captioned, 'Oh she's a stunning girl. Thank you so much!!! And we are heading to the Ritz tonight for dinner!!! How exciting!! Best birthday ever!'.

Zara also mentioned in another post that this was her first Bottega, along with a selfie at a shop.

Moreover, she had a family dinner earlier, possibly before Sam returned home. The former Islander shared photos of her astonishing Strictly Come Dancing-themed birthday cake during this gathering. The two-tiered cake was decorated with vibrant feathers and numerous silver disco balls, paying homage to the BBC One show where Zara competed with pro dancer Graziano Di Prima, but was eliminated during Halloween week.

Further photos from Zara's birthday event showed her enjoying the evening with close friends, including Louise Thompson, Sam's elder sister aged 33.

To cap off her birthday events, Zara spent the evening with boyfriend Sam, Louise, her partner Ryan Libbey, and their one-year-old son, Leo.

Her work buddies sent thoughtful treats for Zara who warmed them up with Louise, as seen in videos shared on Instagram, before spending some quality time with young Leo.
