The drama on season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has centered around Margaret Josephs’ former best friend, Laura Jensen. Laura had spread rumors that Envy owner Melissa Gorga cheated on her husband, Joe Gorga, and was shaded by Melissa on an April episode of Watch What Happens Live. But aside from being a topic of discussion, fans don’t know much about Laura. Keep reading to learn more about her.

Laura joined Prominent Properties: Sotheby’s International Realty as a sales associate in March 2021, according to her Instagram page. She expressed her excitement in her post at the time, stating “So excited to be joining the outstanding @prompropsir group!”. Laura still works at their Northern and Central New Jersey-based office as of publication, according to her LinkedIn page.

Laura has been married to her longtime husband, Dave Jensen, for over two decades. In February 2020, Dave captioned a throwback photo of the pair on Instagram saying, “HAPPY VALENTINES DAY BABY — It’s been almost 20 years, truly the best thing that has ever happened to me.” Laura also gushed over her hubby via Instagram for his birthday in December 2022.

Laura has a son named Michael, and celebrated his 30th birthday in January 2023. She posted a photo of her and her handsome son on Instagram, with the caption “On the rare occasion that I get my handsome son to take a photo, I must post!”

The RHONJ star ended her friendship with Laura after she was allegedly trying to insert herself into Margaret’s employment and met with her castmates. Texts from Margaret leaked to celebrity gossip account @Deuxmoi in July 2022, where she threw in the towel on their friendship stating, “If you choose to associate with her, please do not include me. I know this is very Housewives of me, but we should all know when there is a snake in the group, I hope none of you revealed anything to this BEAST.”

The Bravolebrity responded to the leaked message, admitting that it was in fact a real screenshot, and stated “Unfortunately, I pushed for her for two years; they didn’t want her, so she thought [to] try to be an enemy. Put up the real truth.”

During an April 11, 2023, episode, Jennifer Aydin told Danielle Cabral about Melissa’s alleged infidelity. Jennifer claimed that a co-worker of Margaret’s saw Melissa get into a car with a man who was not her husband and make out with him. After spilling the tea, Jennifer revealed Laura informed her about the alleged incident. Melissa responded to the gossip on Watch What Happened Live! with Andy Cohen the same night, claiming that the rumors were "untrue" and that Laura was someone who "wanted to be on The Housewives, who auditioned three times and didn't make it."
