Challenges Faced by Tyra Banks as a Working Mother

Tyra Banks has opened up about the challenges of being a working mother to her 7-year-old son York. Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, the supermodel admitted that even famous parents find it difficult to explain the concept of remote work, stating that "working from home is a privilege and also a challenge". Banks does her best to balance work and motherhood by giving York plenty of attention when she's off the clock, noting that she'll come home from meetings and jump on the bed with her son in her business suit. "

Banks shares York with ex-boyfriend Erik Asla, and though she mostly keeps him out of the public eye, she revealed that their favourite mother-son activities include colouring and creating new words together - something that Banks became known for during her time as host of America's Next Top Model.

Banks is awaiting a response from Merriam-Webster about adding the term "smize" to the dictionary, but in the meantime, she's content with focusing on raising her son, whom she calls her biggest personal accomplishment.
