Former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn and Ricky Rayment, who previously starred in The Only Way is Essex, recently confirmed that they are in a relationship. On Valentine's Day, the 30-year-old actress posted a series of romantic pictures with Ricky, 33, with an affectionate caption asserting, 'Everyday is like Valentine's Day with you.'

The revelation came on the back of them being seen exchanging a kiss during a shopping spree in Essex over the recent weekend—prompting speculation around their relationship status. Reports suggest that the couple first met in early October and have since bonded further, with an insider revealing, 'Katie and Ricky are really loved up. They've been discreet while they got to know each other. But now they've reached the point where they're comfortable being seen together.'

In 2018, Ricky and Danniella Westbrook caught everyone's attention when they unexpectedly kissed on the red carpet at a film premiere. Following the incident, both Ricky and Danniella took to social media to clarify their relationship status.

Ricky informed his 689,000 Twitter followers: “Just to set the record straight, me and @westbrookdanni have been friends for 7 years now. We did NOT fool around. We had just bumped into each other on the red carpet and shared a greeting kiss. Relax.”

Back in 2015, when Marnie was still part of the Geordie Shore cast, she began dating TOWIE star Ricky Rayment. The reality TV stars embarked on a swift romance which led to Ricky proposing after just five months, whilst holidaying in Greece, an event captured by the Geordie Shore cameras.

However, by the time the proposal aired on television three months later, the couple had already parted ways. According to Ricky, Marnie's party lifestyle was too much for him, leading Marnie to temporarily leave the Geordie Shore house. However, she returned by the end of the year.

Addressing their failed relationship, Marnie criticised Ricky's dissatisfaction with her night-life habits, dubbing the relationship 'the biggest mistake of my life' and describing him as 'full of s***.'

Ricky joined the TOWIE cast during its fourth season in 2012 when he was 21 years old, and began dating Jess Wright, Mark Wright’s sister who was 26 at the time. Following a turbulent two and a half year relationship, the couple separated in November 2014. Jess subsequently quashed suggestions that their break-up was due to Ricky's age, asserting that it was not the cause of their split.

'I learned that he'd chosen a ring for me and was planning to propose. If he was really such an immature kid, would he have gone that far?' she questioned.

In October 2017, reports began to circulate that Ricky was seeing Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, following her break-up with Jeremy McConnell. A source noted, 'They have been together for a bit and things seem promising.'

The insider went on to highlight their 'flirty' chemistry and shared optimism for moving on from previous relationships, noting 'They talk a lot and are openly very flirtatious. It’s the start of something new for them and they’re both taking it as it comes.'

Ricky was also seen kissing Ex On The Beach star Nancy May inside a taxi, after a night out at London’s Soho Hotel and Dstrkt nightclub in June 2016. The pair were seen holding hands as they caught a taxi and left the venue together.
