"Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix Scouted Potential Partners Prior to Cheating"

Tom Sandoval had talked about his trusting relationship with Ariana Madix before his affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed on Vanderpump Rules.

On the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, which aired on Wednesday, April 5, Tom Schwartz expressed guilt about checking out other women while he was getting divorced from Katie Maloney. "Why does it still feel illegal to check girls out?" asked Schwartz. Sandoval replied that he and Ariana often check out both men and women and asked, "Who cares?"

Later in the episode, footage was shown of Schwartz and Raquel kissing for the first time before Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding. Raquel made headlines after her affair with Sandoval was confirmed.

"They were having problems for a while," a source told Us Weekly in March. The source added that things came to a head when Ariana found out Sandoval was unfaithful with Raquel, which led to their breakup.

Before the cheating scandal came to light, Ariana took to Twitter to deny rumors about her and Sandoval being in an open relationship. And in February, she spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about why she decided to clear the air. "I feel like when you let things ruminate like that, it kind of just becomes more than it is," she said. "Honestly, it would be really sexy if we were, but we're not."

Sandoval later apologized for his actions in an Instagram post. "I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I've hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana," he wrote. "I made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."

Raquel also apologized for her actions and choices in an Instagram post, stating that she regretted hurting Ariana.

Since news broke about Sandoval's affair with Raquel, the two have been spotted together publicly several times. However, a rep for TomTom co-owner clarified that Raquel's visit to Sandoval's house was brief and for work purposes only.
