Additional footage showed Taylor singing, dancing, and playing several instruments for the audience while she revealed that the setlist spanned the first 17 years of her career. "People would come up to me and they'd be like, 'So, you're just gonna do a show with all the albums in it?' And I was like, 'Yeah. It's gonna be called the Eras tour. See you there.'"
The trailer ended with the Pennsylvania-born star performing her popular song "Cruel Summer" amid applauding fans.
On November 27, 2023, she announced via X that the movie would be rentable on demand in the U.S., Canada, and other regions starting from her birthday on December 13, 2023. The streaming option comes with three extra songs.

On February 7, 2024, nearly two months later, Taylor informed fans that the movie would be streamable on Disney+. "@disneyplus is the streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film. The complete concert (inclusive of "cardigan" and four added songs from the acoustic section!) will be accessible there for the first time. I’ve titled it, no surprise, 'Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version),'", she announced via Instagram. "It will be obtainable from March 15, which is fast approaching."
