Jesse Palmer, the host of Bachelor Nation, is now a father! He joyously revealed on Instagram on Wednesday, January 10 that his wife, Emely Fardo, has given birth to their first child, a daughter.

Jesse, who is 45, expressed his excitement and happiness on his post, stating that their lives have taken a beautiful twist ever since their little one, Ella Reine Palmer, entered their world. His post was a reflection of their overwhelming love and gratitude.

The sports commentator did not shy away from giving a glimpse of his newborn daughter resting on Emely’s bosom, alongside his announcement on Instagram.

Jesse and Emely, who is 34, have been together as a couple since 2017. Their engagement transpired in 2019. The couple initially had plans to get married in Paris, however, the ongoing 2020 pandemic led to the cancellation of the ceremony. They instead decided to wed in a small ceremony in Connecticut in June that year.

Despite the unplanned change in their wedding location, the couple managed to live their dream and conducted their wedding in France in 2022. The couple announced that they were expecting in August 2023.

The overjoyed couple issued a joint statement revealing that their family was growing and they could not contain their happiness. They also mentioned that they were thrilled to be welcoming their baby girl into their family in January 2024.

Coinciding with Emely's final stages of pregnancy, Jesse hosted The Golden Bachelor stars Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner's broadcasted wedding in Palm Springs on January 4. As the wedding was held just a few days close to Emely's due date, ABC brought in Wells Adams as a backup for Jesse.

39-year-old Wells Adams, bartender at Bachelor in Paradise, explained in an exclusive interview to Life & Style, how he was quickly approached two days prior to the event in case Jesse was unavailable. To his relief, Jesse flew back in time, four hours prior to the event, successfully filling in without Wells’ needing to step in.

During the live event, Jesse took an opportunity to address Emely, expressing his immense love for her publically. He told her to stay put and assured her that he was only a call away. He even went on to insist that he would leave the event in a heartbeat if she required him.

Jesse has been in the limelight ever since he starred in season 5 of The Bachelor in 2004. He formed a love connection with Jessica Bowlin, the final contestant on his season. However, within a few weeks following the finale, the relationship ended.
