Famous Celebrities and Their Tequila Brands: Check Out Dwayne Johnson, Nick Jonas and Others' Labels
It’s time to celebrate tequila! National Tequila Day (yes, it’s a real holiday) is on July 24, and tons of stars have invested their money into the spirit.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson launched Termana Tequila in 2020, and within three years he sold over 2 million 9L cases of the booze.
“I’ve always loved tequila and wanted to create a brand that is rooted in responsible sourcing,” the Johnson exclusively told Us Weekly in his August 2022 cover story. “I love that the tequila brings people together, it’s brought me close to everyone I work with and drinking tequila is such a social activity, so it’s a product I’m happy to put out into the world.”
Authentic tequila is made only from Blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico. Nick Jonas’ Villa One, Rita Ora’s Próspero and Kendall Jenner’s 818 are also distilled in the city.
