During Night 1 of Nashville 'Eras Tour', Taylor Swift Announces 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'
Taylor Swift has announced that her re-recording of Speak Now will be released on July 7, during the first night of her Eras Tour in Nashville, Tennessee. The 12-time Grammy winner revealed the news to a screaming crowd after her 1989 segment. She teased the audience, saying, "You know how I love to plan things, and how I love to surprise you with the things I plan. It’s my love language with you." The new cover of her October 2010 album, Speak Now, appeared on the back big screen with the added "(Taylor’s Version) — July 7, 2023," and bracelets worn by the concertgoers turned a fitting shade of purple. Taylor also performed a rendition of "Sparks Fly" from the album. She later posted a special message for fans on Instagram, saying that she cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with them and that the album tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying, and living to speak about it.
Taylor has previously re-recorded Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version). Fans can pre-order Speak Now (Taylor's Version) on TaylorSwift.com.
