On Saturday, February 10, Taylor Swift, the well-known jetsetter, arrived in Los Angeles ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl, to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce while she was in the midst of her Eras international tour.

Swift departed from Tokyo, Japan, at 11:36 p.m. local time and managed to touch down in L.A. at 3:34 p.m., covering a considerable amount of ground in a short span of time, as per flight records reviewed by a popular lifestyle magazine.

Eager fans have been speculating whether the pop idol would make an appearance on the Super Bowl’s jumbotron, especially after her performance in Tokyo the previous night. Although neither Travis nor Taylor commented about it, the Japanese Embassy did. They issued a statement addressing whether she could realistically reach the Super Bowl on time.

“Regardless of the 12-hour ride and a 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can assuredly Speak Now and proclaim that if she leaves Tokyo after her concert, she should easily reach Las Vegas before the Super Bowl kickoff," the statement read. "We understand that many fans in Japan are looking forward to the Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour - hence we want to assure anyone concerned to be Fearless that this amazing entertainer can mesmerise Japanese audiences and still make it back to Las Vegas to back the Chiefs at the Super Bowl, clad in Red.”

As expected, Travis was bombarded with queries about his relationship with Swift as the Super Bowl neared. He kept his cool, responded to all the questions, leaving them with a cliffhanger.

“She's presently focused on entertaining fans abroad. Is it Singapore at the moment? No, I recall, it’s Japan, Tokyo,” he commented while interacting with press agents on February 7 in Las Vegas. “So, she's concentrating on staging wonderful performances. As for the Super Bowl, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Taylor had her own significant event to attend – the 2024 Grammys. Known as the “Lavender Haze” singer, she graced the show in the company of Lana Del Rey, as her NFL boyfriend had to be at Sin City for the Super Bowl.

“I’d love to support Taylor at the Grammys and see her sweep all the awards she’s been nominated for,” Travis commented during the January 31 broadcast of The Pat McAfee Show. “But I think I've got practice on Sunday, or I believe it’s a travel day. I know I have practice on Saturday, and Sunday is reserved for travelling.”

Before Taylor secured four awards, Travis had expressed his public support for her six Grammy nominations by liking an Instagram video of her making an entrance.
