Travis Kelce Waits for Taylor Swift Backstage and Receives a Kiss after Eras Tour in Sydney

Travis Kelce eagerly anticipated Taylor Swift's exit from the stage during her concert in Sydney, Australia, on Friday, February 23. After a stellar performance, Swift ran to her boyfriend for a post-show kiss before exiting the venue.

34-year-old Travis was accompanied by his friend, Ross Travis, at the concert. They viewed the performance from a VIP space, exchanging friendship bracelets with fans prior to Swift, also 34, taking the stage. The pair arrived in Sydney on Thursday, February 22, in anticipation of the pop icon’s sets at Accor Stadium over the following four days.

Swift made her entrance into Sydney a few days prior to her show, seemingly relishing her downtime in the city. On Tuesday, February 20, she was spotted heading for a meal with tour warm-up act, Sabrina Carpenter. The following day, she visited the Sydney zoo with members of her team. She revisited the animals with Travis upon his arrival, transforming the outing into an adorable daytime date.

With football season over, Travis, a recent Super Bowl champion as of February 11, seized the opportunity to travel to Australia and support Swift. He had previously attended a November 2023 performance of the Eras tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina during a football bye weekend.

Prior to the pair’s relationship, Travis was present at the July 2023 Eras tour event in Kansas City. Speaking on his “New Heights” podcast after the show, he confessed his wish to gift a friendship bracelet to Taylor, complete with his phone number, but was unable to. Swift disclosed on a December 2023 interview that the two started spending time together soon after.

The relationship only became public a few weeks later, giving them some privacy while they got acquainted. Swift confirmed their relationship in September 2023 when she made an appearance at one of Travis’ football games.

“Being in a public relationship means I get to watch him doing what he enjoys,” she asserted. “We consistently support each other. It doesn’t matter who’s watching. Despite that, it requires significant efforts to maintain privacy. But, we take pride in our bond.”

After maintaining an ultra-private relationship with Joe Alwyn for over six years, Swift hasn’t refrained from expressing her feelings for Travis, even displaying affection in front of a vast Super Bowl audience. Regarding her appearance at NFL games this season, Swift said, “My purpose is just to support Travis. I don’t keep track of how much I’m shown, and I couldn’t care less about annoying any dads, Brads or Chads.”
