Men named Brad, Chad, or whose role could be described as "dad" might be annoyed today, although they rarely require a reason. Multi-millionaire singer Taylor Swift has coined those typical names to represent her male critics, often aroused by her appearances at her boyfriend Travis Kelce's workplace. She revealed these anecdotes in her Person of the Year interview with Time. However, Patrick Mahomes, who is part of the same team as Travis Kelce, the tight end for Kansas City Chiefs, feels differently about Swift, welcoming her at games and now including her as a part of the "Kingdom of Chiefs" just like any other Brad or Chad.

In an interview with former NFL athlete turned journalist, Nate Burleson, Mahomes discussed Swift as “the elephant in the room.”

A sign was lifted by a fan during a game between Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri on September 24 2023.

Initially, everyone maintained distance, allowing him to do whatever he wanted," Mahomes recalled about Kelce and Swift's growing relationship which allegedly initiated before the 2023 NFL season started.

However, Kelce's teammates are human too. "Initially, there were a few jocular remarks," Mahomes disclosed.

Pictures show Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes enjoying themselves in a suite during a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin, seen on December 03, 2023.

"Then when Taylor started participating more frequently, everyone saw why she is an awesome personality," Mahomes predicted, possibly about Swift's debut public Chiefs game in September.

Kelce as per Mahomes is "fortunate to be involved with a phenomenal girl — and a wonderful woman—and interacting with her, observing her professionalism is a learning experience". Mahomes, who is considered a top player in his field by Fox Sports, said he is learning from Swift and likes how she carries herself.

A young supporter produced a sign referencing Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious against the New England Patriots with a score of 27-17.

Swift, now a part of the "Kingdom of Chiefs" and the team, according to Mahomes, is news that might disconcert those who booed Swift in the previous Chiefs' game.

Strangely, Chiefs' aficionados also jeered during a 2020 observance of silence for equality, suggesting some participants of the said Kingdom could be outdated. Those belonging to families of such individuals should brace themselves for some sulks on Christmas Day, given that Swift is reportedly celebrating Christmas with Kelce and the Chiefs as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders at 1 pm Eastern Time.
