Taylor Swift joins Travis Kelce in Kansas City for Christmas at Chiefs Game
Grammy-award-winning singer Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are deeply in love. Swift was seen supporting her man during the Kansas City Chiefs vs Las Vegas Raiders game, right before their first Christmas celebration as a couple.
Swift made a noticeable appearance, arriving in a gold cart with Santa Claus. She was seen in a private box, cheering Kelce on.
The couple are celebrating their first holiday season together. However, Swift, 34, was not able to join Kelce for Thanksgiving, due to a sudden change in the South American part of her Eras tour schedule.
The singer had the 21st, 22nd, and 24th of November scheduled as time off for Thanksgiving. But she was booked for three performances at the Allianz Parque stadium in San Paolo, Brazil, starting on the 24th. Swift chose to remain in Brazil for a week following her third show at Rio de Janeiro on the 20th of November. The show was rescheduled from the previous Saturday due to a fan tragically passing away from heat exhaustion at the concert the night before. Consequently, Swift had to cancel her plans to return to the US to watch Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Philadelphia Eagles, a team that includes Kelce’s brother, Jason.
On the “New Heights” podcast episode aired on the 22nd of November, Travis mentioned that he would be spending Thanksgiving alone in Missouri while Jason, 36, would be with his wife Kylie Kelce and their three daughters in Pennsylvania. Travis jokingly mentioned his plans to feast on KFC.
As Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason, revealed, she planned to spend Thanksgiving with Jason and his family in Philadelphia. She admitted to not knowing about Travis’ plans. She stated that she always celebrates holidays where her sons are located, rather than at her own home.
Travis and Swift’s relationship has been frequently talked about in the media since Travis disclosed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet containing his phone number during one of her Eras tour concerts in July. The couple then made their relationship public on the 24th of September, when Swift attended the Chiefs vs Chicago Bears game to support Travis.
Fans were let down by the news that the couple had separate Thanksgiving plans. However, their excitement was revived when they heard of Travis’ special plans for Swift’s 34th birthday. An insider told Life & Style that Travis had pledged to celebrate with her, and was looking forward to showing her his love.
Nonetheless, Travis was required to attend a mandatory practice session in preparation for their game on the 17th of December against the New England Patriots.
A source revealed some potential plans for the couple’s first Christmas celebrations together. They said Swift’s mother, Andrea, is hoping to celebrate with her daughter in Pennsylvania. However, Swift may try to join Travis for Christmas Eve, or visit him after his game in Missouri on Christmas Day. While the arrangement may be complicated, they are eagerly making it work. The couple are looking forward to creating unforgettable holiday season memories together.
