Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted Holding Hands After Chiefs Loss on Christmas Day
Taylor Swift was on hand to offer emotional support to her partner Travis Kelce after the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Las Vegas Raiders on December 25th. The duo was seen hand in hand as they exited Arrowhead Stadium together on Christmas day.
Swift, the 34-year-old "Anti-Hero" vocalist, embraced the Christmas spirit by donning a plaid skirt and a red jumper, with her hair neatly styled back with a bow. She completed her outfit with tights and a black coat, sporting "87" hangings earrings, a tribute to her boyfriend's jersey number. Swift also wore a Santa hat that featured “87” on it during the game.
Their first Christmas as a couple saw Swift's family, including brother Austin Swift and parents Scott and Andrea Swift, join them at the stadium. Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, was present too, while Donna Kelce, Travis’ mother, celebrated Christmas in Philadelphia with his brother, Jason Kelce, and his family.
Swift and Travis, also 34, started their relationship in the wake of her tour stop in Kansas City for the Eras tour in July. Travis attended one of the concerts and later remarked that he regretted not being able to give her his number. Swift in a December 6 interview said it was “metal as hell” of Travis for trying to get her attention this way.
“We began seeing each other soon after that,” Swift revealed. “I'm thankful for the period when our relationship was a secret, it allowed us to know each other better.” Rumors about them being an item first came to light in early November, and they finally made their relationship public on September 24.
Since officially dating, Taylor has been seen supporting Travis at several games. Travis also made an effort to attend Swift's Eras tour in Argentina during a bye weekend in November. "We're there for each other and that's all the matter," Swift said.
As the football season approaches its end, there are two more regular games left for the Chiefs on December 31 and January 7, 2024. On the other hand, Swift's tour is set to continue on February 7, 2024, in Tokyo.
If the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl, the game is slated for February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas. Taylor has a show in Tokyo on February 10, followed by a few days' break before heading to Australia for another concert on February 16.
