Students from ESMOD and IFM contribute designs as Stephane Rolland opens upcoming couture show
Stephane Rolland is set to open his upcoming haute couture show in Paris with designs by students from ESMOD and IFM. The renowned fashion designer will showcase his talent on Tuesday, January 23rd which coincides with the second day of the four-day haute couture season that will highlight Spring-Summer 2024 collections. The anticipated fashion event will be held at the prestigious Salle Pleyel, one of Paris's finest concert halls.
The fashion show plans to commence a partnership, initiated by Stephane Rolland's aspiration to maintain and transfer his skills and knowledge to new generations, between the Couture House and the Paris-based fashion institutions, ESMOD and IFM. Both ESMOD and IFM are esteemed fashion colleges located in Paris.
Rolland is known for his deviation from conventional show formats. He previously hosted a couture show on the Théâtre du Châtelet stage, and his latest runway presentation was a grand occasion within the Palais Garnier, where acclaimed filmmaker Claude Lelouch captured scenes for his forthcoming film.
The fashion house of Stephane Rolland highlighted that "around twenty students, mentored by Stephane Rolland in the form of Master classes during the first quarter, will be given the chance to exhibit their work as the first segment of the fashion show. This opportunity will provide them with initial exposure to professionals and the audience."
