Refusing to give weight to rumors about Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval’s relationship, Scheana Shay displayed her allegiance by defending her friends amid speculation about their nearly decade-long relationship with Ariana Madix, during a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules. In a conversation with newcomer Ally Lewber, Scheana recounted seeing Tom and Raquel together at The Abbey in the early hours of the morning. When she later mentioned this to Katie Maloney, Katie opined that Tom and Ariana may have an “open relationship.”

As a close friend of Tom and Ariana, Scheana vehemently denied the claims, calling them disgusting and holding Tom and Ariana in high regard as two of her best friends. Scheana claimed that the rumors were spread by Katie as a result of her issues with Raquel, particularly over her kissing her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, with whom she split in March 2022 after over a decade together.

Scheana also expressed comfort with husband Brock Davies spending time with Raquel, stating she would trust him in the same bed as her. She condemned others who suggested they could not trust Raquel around their men, insisting that “that is not OK.”

In a later part of the episode, Scheana warned Tom about people talking about his personal life, telling him that Raquel was apparently “going after” him. Tom brushed off the concerns, laughing and labeling them as ridiculous, reiterating his deep friendship with Raquel.

Offscreen, it was confirmed that Tom had an affair with the model in March, leading to his breakup with Ariana. Apologizing publicly through Instagram, Tom expressed regret over his recklessness, selfishness, and the pain he caused Ariana and indicated that he would try to repair his relationships.

Speaking earlier this month on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, Tom revealed that Ariana had been “fully in denial” when he tried to end their relationship on Valentine’s Day in the past, which scared him. He also provided an update on his current status with Raquel, saying they were “really good friends” and not adding any labels to their friendship.

Vanderpump Rules is currently airing on Bravo, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
