Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden are officially parents. The couple was spotted looking cheerful as they strolled together with a baby stroller in London, England according to photos by The Sun.

The Irish actress and Scottish actor first crossed paths on the set of Mary Queen of Scots in 2018. The historical drama saw Ronan in the leading role of Mary Stuart, while Lowden portrayed her second husband, Henry Darnley. The pair later got hitched in Edinburgh in July of 2024.

At the time, Lowden was quick to praise his now-wife’s talent and powerful presence on set. Speaking during a panel with AOL, he described the experience as nothing short of remarkable.

“The woman is a force of nature on and off-screen, and utterly fearless and a brilliant leader as well,” he said kindly. “For being 24 years old, it’s just constantly amazing to me, not just her work, but how she is on a set is amazing.”

The 31-year-old actress also opened up to USA Today last year about her relationship with Lowden, affectionately calling him her “voice of reason.” She explained that their shared experience in the industry has strengthened their bond both personally and professionally.

“As a duo, we’ve both been on film sets our whole lives, so we have an appreciation of what we’re asking actors to do,” Ronan said. “We always want them to feel safe.”

The talented actress also made headlines last May when she debuted her baby bump during a casual stroll with her husband and their dog, keeping the milestone moment characteristically low-key.
