Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola and Fiancé Justin May Celebrate the Arrival of Baby Boy Vincent

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has officially stepped into her sweetest new role yet: motherhood.

The Jersey Shore alum and her fiancé, Justin May, revealed they welcomed their first child together on Wednesday, August 20, sharing the news with fans a week later on Tuesday, August 26.

“Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby 🥹🍼Vincent Keith May August 20, 2025😭 ,” the reality star captioned her Instagram announcement alongside several sweet photos. “After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice 🥹♥️. Ok I can’t stop crying happy tears. Thank you God.”

Baby Vincent, who weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 20 inches long, even shares a first name with one of Sammi’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation costars, Vincent “Vinny” Guadagnino. The couple shared photos of their little one’s name plaque, shots of each parent cuddling him, and a sweet hospital picture of Sammi in her gown cradling the newborn. Another photo showed both parents carrying a car seat with their baby safely buckled inside.

Sammi’s costars were quick to flood the comments section with love. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote, “Welcome to the family baby! ❤️,” while Deena Cortese added, “So happy for you !!! He’s beautiful ❤️❤️.” Jenni “JWoww” Farley chimed in with “😍😍😍😍 congratulations 🍾,” and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren, shared, “Welcome Baby Vincent! We can’t wait to meet this precious boy! 🥺🙏🏼♥️.”

The boutique owner has been open about her fertility struggles on Jersey Shore, even letting cameras follow her through egg retrieval treatments and the pain of a miscarriage. “This has been a very long process, it’s been a lot of shots, it’s been a lot of hormones,” she admitted during one episode. “Just the thought of even being pregnant was such a magical moment for me, and just to have that taken away — it’s devastating for me.”

Through it all, Sammi leaned on Justin for unwavering support. “He’s so positive and uplifting,” she said of her fiancé. “He’s so special to me, and I just am so thankful for him. He’s been by my side through this whole thing. I just love him.”

Sammi and Justin, who got engaged in 2024, first announced they were expecting back in February with a heartfelt post. “After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for!” they shared at the time. “We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕.”
