Fourth Baby with Blake Lively was not as Challenging as their Third, Says Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds has revealed that welcoming his fourth child with Blake Lively was not as challenging as becoming a family of five. The actor, 46, told ET Canada on April 14th that going from two to three children was a big jump, but three to four was less so. Reynolds joked that he has not "met" any of his children yet, but added that he and Lively love their large family. They confirmed the birth of their fourth child in February after Lively shared a photo of herself without a baby bump. The couple also have daughters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3, but have not revealed the sex of their latest addition. A source told Us Weekly in February that the older children were enjoying their new sibling's company, describing them as "sweet."
Lively and Reynolds have always wanted a large family, having grown up as the youngest in their larger broods. Lively spoke about the joys of motherhood to Forbes in May 2022, saying that having children made her feel more at ease in her own skin. She added that family is at the root of everything she creates, saying, "that's just how I live."
The couple met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010 but were seeing other people at the time. They remained close friends until a double date made them realize how much they had in common. They went on to tie the knot in 2012 and welcomed their daughters in 2015, 2016, and 2019.
