The receipts, proof, timeline and screenshots came in Heather Gay’s favor after a judge ordered Monica Garcia to pay her $35,000 amid their lip filler court battle.

On October 22, Heather’s company, The Beauty Lab + Laser, filed a proposed judgment to the Salt Lake City court to settle its lawsuit with Monica, 41, who failed to pay her bill at the establishment. A judge finalized the settlement by approving the company’s proposition and ordering Monica to pay the Beauty Lab + Laser $35,853.60 on Monday, November 4, according to The U.S. Sun.

Monica’s attorney, Larry Reed, addressed the new development in a statement to the outlet, saying, “An appeal will be filed. We are confident.”

Monica addressed the news via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, November 6, slamming reports for not including her lawyers’ comments.

“The fact that this lawsuit was even on a news day like yesterday says a lot. I’m in shock,” Monica wrote in the lengthy statement.

She later added, “My lawyers have made comments to the outlets reaching out to them and I find it so convenient that they aren’t being shared. ‘This was a shocking and bad decision. We have every intention of appealing and are confident in the outcome moving forward.’”

In November 2023, The Beauty Lab + Laser filed a lawsuit against Monica after she failed to comply with her signed contract and pay her outstanding lip injection bill, which totaled $2,449. While the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum paid the $400 down payment and $48 setup fee, she failed to complete her monthly payment of $200 for the following 10 months, according to the lawsuit.

Now, Monica has to cough up more than ten times that amount, according to the court documents obtained by The U.S Sun.

Monica is ordered to pay an 18 percent annual interest on the initial $2,000 amount, totaling $1,683.62. More notably, the former Bravo star must pay The Beauty Lab + Laser’s attorney fees of $31,550.

Monica countersued Heather’s company after she was hit with the lawsuit. The Brea Baby founder’s request was amended in November 2023, but then she hit back with another lawsuit against Beauty Lab + Laser for breach of independent duty of care, breach of contract and breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing.

In the filing, Monica claimed that she “received defective, negligently given injections, which did not have the intended, promised result.” She even called the injections she received “botched” and claimed to have visited a “competent party to fix the damage.”

Heather, 50, reacted to Monica’s countersuit by sharing a promotional video via Instagram of her business while raving over the company’s success.

“Beauty Lab + Laser is a phenomenal business, in the top 1% of providers, with over 3,000 positive reviews. Our injectors are nationally ranked and leaders within the industry and our legion of loyal customers speaks for itself,” Heather began in the caption. “This lawsuit in the press has no merit and is unfortunately a pattern of behavior from a desperate woman who when unable to pay her bills lashes out to avoid accountability.”

The court dismissed Monica’s lawsuit against The Beauty Lab + Laser in January.
