Gia Giudice Denies Persuading Joe Gorga to End Relationship with Melissa Amid Infidelity Allegations on RHONJ
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Gia Giudice, has denied reports that she advised her uncle Joe Gorga to divorce his wife, Melissa Gorga, following rumors of infidelity. During the season 13 reunion show, Joe reportedly alleged that Gia had called him ahead of Teresa Giudice's wedding and told him to leave Melissa. However, on the "AllAboutTHR" podcast, it was revealed that Gia denied the allegations.
"She says that she did call Joe Gorga. But she begged him to come to Teresa's wedding," said the podcasters. "She swears on her Nonno and Nonna that she never once told her uncle that he should leave Melissa."
Gia also responded to the reports via a TikTok comment, stating that it was "sad" that she had to defend herself against the accusations.
The rumors of Melissa's infidelity began to circulate during an episode of the show when costar Jennifer Aydin claimed that a colleague of Margaret Josephs had seen Melissa kissing another man in a car. Melissa has since denied the claims, calling them "baseless."
The reports have added to the ongoing tension between the Gorgas and the Giudice family, which caused Joe and Melissa to skip Teresa's wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022.
"They're not going to celebrate Teresa's new marriage when all she does is try to tear apart theirs," a source told People at the time.
