In April 2023, it was reported that Teresa owed $1,096,012.14 to the federal government for unpaid taxes. Despite her financial struggles, Teresa announced her engagement to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in October 2021 and tied the knot with him in August 2022.
Luis is a cofounder of digital marketing agency Digital Media Solutions and has a net worth of approximately $2 million, according to Exact Net Worth.
During a February 2022 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen asked Teresa if she would be signing a prenup before her wedding to Louie.
