If you're tuning into the latest series of Big Brother, you may recognise a few of the participants from previous programmes. Tom appeared on Kavos Weekender, while Farida was a recent guest on Blankety Blank.

This trend is not restricted to Big Brother; shows like I'm A Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing also feature a revolving cast of familiar faces. As these shows continue their runs, the pool of new talent could start to diminish, making repeat appearances more likely.

While these cross-appearances usually happen on a small scale, some celebrities, like Rylan and MAFS' Peggy Rose, can boast of appearances on an extensive array of different shows. Let's delve a bit deeper into some of these programme-hopping personalities...

Rylan might be remembered for his emotional moment on the X Factor when Nicole Scherzinger revealed he had made it to the finals. However, his reality TV resume is much more varied. Rylan appeared on Signed By Katie Price before X Factor, and even tried to enter Big Brother unsuccessfully. After X Factor, Rylan starred in Celebrity Big Brother, where his popularity led to him taking over Emma Willis' presenting role on Bit On The Side.

Rylan wasn't done with reality TV after that. He participated in Celebrity Masterchef and Bake Off, and even joined a celebrity edition of The Apprentice in 2019, although he found it challenging.
