Shantel VanSanten and her estranged husband, Victor Webster, are making progress with their divorce proceedings after separating in January. The One Tree Hill actress, 37, responded to Webster's initial court filing on June 5, requesting a "dissolution" of marriage and citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their divorce, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. VanSanten agreed with Webster's original separation date of January 10 and confirmed that they share no children. She also noted that they are currently in mediation regarding spousal support and how to allocate their shared assets.

VanSanten and Webster got engaged in February 2021 after dating for four years. The couple, who co-starred in Hallmark Channel's Love Blossoms, tied the knot in a civil ceremony in August 2021 at Pasadena City Hall in California, which they celebrated with two additional ceremonies in October 2021. However, their marriage came to an end at the beginning of the new year, and in April, Webster filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" and listing the date of separation as January 10.

The Shooter actor's response to the divorce proceedings was signed on June 1 but filed with the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles on June 5. In the past, Webster has praised his wife on social media, calling her his catch and sharing romantic getaways with her.
