Olivia Culpo Shares Wedding and Family Plans with Fiancé Christian: 'Luxurious Dilemmas'

Organizing a wedding amid the football season may indeed present a challenge for some, but Olivia Culpo vividly shares with Life & Style that she is "making the most of the moment" as part of her engagement period with her future husband, NFL star Christian McCaffrey.

"The wedding preparations are progressing smoothly. I believe these are all pleasant issues to tackle. It's a complex process, but I'm truly appreciative of every aspect of it. And it's a once-in-a-lifetime event,” the star of Culpo Sisters opened up to Life & Style during the TruBody Brand Refresh Event held on Wednesday, October 18.

The former recipient of the Miss Universe title, who is 31, detailed her agreement with the 27-year-old San Francisco 49ers running back to "maintain a balanced perspective" while gearing up for the monumental day before immersing into the to-do list.

"We [have made a resolution] to bear in mind that the purpose of this occasion is to celebrate love, love takes precedence, and everything else related to appearances falls second in line. Hence, we aim to dedicate the event to celebrate our love. Frankly, this approach decreases the stress of making everything flawless for the event,” Olivia enthusiastically explained.

Christian got down on one knee in a classic tuxedo to propose to the model on April 2 after being together for nearly four years. Olivia shared images of the unforgettable moment on Instagram and showcased her stunning diamond ring.

In alignment with their engagement process, the influential couple have agreed on the traditional route for their wedding day.

"Christian wished to get married at a church, which we will. And I want his first glimpse of me to be when I am walking down the aisle, which I think is somewhat unusual in our time,” Olivia shared with Life & Style. She also disclosed, “Also, I won’t be sharing a bed with him the night before. That's what I have planned so far."

Thanks to TruBody, Olivia is preparing to be at her photogenic best on the day of the wedding. The system has helped the model "level up" her "workout routine", resulting in her abs and glutes being in prime shape and even reducing her waistline by two inches!

As for their plans after marriage, Olivia and Christian are in discussions about starting a family soon. The actress shared with Life & Style that they want this step to occur organically.

The beautiful couple began dating in 2019 after meeting through mutual acquaintances, although Olivia was initially reluctant due to his career in sports.

"They said to me, 'Olivia, we know someone great you should meet.' But I was not keen on dating an athlete. I just felt it wasn’t the best choice for me due to past experiences. So I thought -- better not,” Olivia revealed during an Instagram Live in August 2020.

But as destiny would have it, Olivia and Christian instantly connected and publicly announced their relationship in July 2019. The rest, as they say, is history.
