With Donald Trump's significant win in the New Hampshire primary, the formerly unthinkable prospect of him securing the Republican presidential nomination has turned into an almost assured outcome. However, Nikki Haley, who still considers this a contest, thinks otherwise.

Haley, after taking the second spot in the Granite State spoke her heart out to her supporters on Tuesday. She insisted that "New Hampshire may be the first state in the nation, but it isn’t the last," indicating that the race is far from being decided. "We will now be heading home to South Carolina,” she declared further. This state will host the GOP primary on February 24. Haley did not hesitate to voice her fighting spirit saying, “I’m scrappy—and now we're the only ones left in the ring with Donald Trump.” She pointed out how their adversary had been a thorn in the Republican Party's side for the past few elections, adding, "We lost in 2018, 2020, and also in 2022. The fact that the Democrats so eagerly want to compete against Trump is politics' worst-kept secret. They are aware that Trump is the only GOP candidate who can potentially lose to Joe Biden."

In his address on Tuesday, Trump stated that Haley had "experienced a major failure," and later on labeled her "DELUSIONAL!!!" on Truth Social following her assertion that the “race is far from over.” Last week, he demonstrated his classic charm and affability by disregarding Haley as a prospective Vice President, publicly dubbing her as “not tough enough” and “not intelligent enough.” (This judgement comes from the same man who once made the inaccurate claim that there were airports during the Revolutionary War and that magnets are destroyed by water.)

In the polls that took place ahead of the Iowa caucus, Trump has a substantial lead of about 30 points over Haley even in her home state of South Carolina.
